What does it do? The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce is a working partnership of the leading business and professional people and interests of this community. While it represents business and professions, it is essentially an organization of men and women, who know the wisdom of coordinating their efforts under effective leadership for the civic, industrial and commercial advancement of the area. Where is it? The office is at your disposal at 118 Fletcher in downtown Crookston, but this is only one tiny spot. Your Chamber of Commerce is YOU! You take it with you wherever you go! How does it get things done? By coordinating the efforts of every individual, or group of individuals, toward a common goal, more can be accomplished. No city was ever built by one individual. Detailed civic information is given out by means of activating an ever-expanding program of work, the Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce office and staff are available as coordination element for the unification of the organized efforts of the entire community. Beautification Committee developing recognition program for businesses doing an outstanding job of beautification. Also working on plans for ongoing clean up and beautification of the city. Production of annual directory listing various community and all Chamber members by business category.
