Crookston, Minnesota is a warm and friendly community with just over 8,000 people. Located in the heart of the Red River Valley, it lies on the banks of the Red Lake River.

The community of Crookston features a large, historic downtown, with many recreational opportunities such as golfing, snowmobiling, and fishing the Red Lake River. Go to the northern edge of town you’ll find the picturesque University of Minnesota Crookston campus. Don’t forget to take in a movie at the historic Grand Theater and make a stop at Widman’s Candy Shop for an old-fashioned soda and hand dipped chocolate and other candy treats.
