What is the "King of Trails" Marketplace?
Visit us for the Fourth Annual “King of Trails” Fall Marketplace in Crookston on Saturday, September 9th. The historic “King of Trails” is the designation given to Highway 75 by the State of Minnesota in 2002 and covers approximately 400 miles from the Canadian border to the Iowa border. In 2006 the King of Trails became a Minnesota Scenic Byway.

The Crookston Marketplace is one of many planned for the day by communities all along Highway 75. Promoted as “400 miles of great bargains”, the first event in 2003 attracted widespread attention and publicity. We anticipate an even greater response, including more bargain-hunters, this year.

Where will the Marketplace be held?
In Crookston, the main Marketplace will be located in the Bremer bank parking lot at Broadway and Third Street. This area will provide plenty of space, easy access, and great visibility from either direction on Highway 75.

What can I expect to see at the Marketplace?
Arts & crafts, antiques, fresh produce, flowers, collectibles, books, furniture, etc, as well as flea market and garage sale items are all expected at the Crookston Marketplace.

Where will the Marketplace be held if there is inclement weather?
The Marketplace will be held outdoors, rain or shine, unless there are dangerous weather conditions such as a thunderstorm or high winds. In that case, the Marketplace will be held in the Crookston Civic Arena on Robert Street. (Tune to KROX Radio, 1260 AM, for last minute announcements.)

Interested in becoming a Vendor?
To register, please download and complete the form and return to: King of Trails Marketplace, c/o Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 115, Crookston MN 56716. One “space” is approximately 10 feet x 10 feet. Registration fee is $20.00 (before August 30th) and $25 (after August 30th). Vendors will be responsible for their own tables, chairs, canopies, and other display needs. No electrical access available.
